Bill White, our landscape designer, received his Bachelor of Science degree in landscape architecture and environmental planning from Utah State University in 1983. At that time Utah State was ranked second in the nation for their landscape program behind U.C. Berkeley. Since that time Bill has been creating beautiful landscapes in Chicago area, San Diego, and Grand Traverse County.
The Design process
We begin by meeting with the client on site for a comprehensive site analysis. We will discuss what you are looking for in terms of: use, aesthetics, form function, site challenges, plant and other materials you may be considering. An initial plan is then created based on the results of that meeting. That plan is then reviewed, adjustments are made and a final plan is drawn. By consulting throughout the process the client is assured to get what works for them.
Benefits
As a design, build and maintenance firm we have the advantage of being able to take a project through the entire process thus ensuring quality control from beginning to end. For the residential client interested in doing their own work, we are able to offer high level design service at a reasonable cost, giving you the ability to phase out a project to stay within atight budget; forecast the total cost and end up with a well thought out cohesive garden.
